An Academic Year in Review

I’ve just completed a highly successful year at the University of South Florida. All business pre-reqs have been met, and I’ll never ever have to deal with Financial Accounting and Managerial Accounting ever again. Those two classes were the most aggravating, most difficult, and most time consuming courses I’ve ever taken. I got B’s in both courses, but the spring semester B in managerial accounting was a fucking struggle right to the very end.  Although I was a full time student, it seemed liked accounting took a disproportionate amount of my study time, I would estimate that it was around 65%. At the conclusion of the semester I briefly thought about attending summer school, but I’ve never done well in summer school in general and also I really need a break from school to sort of recharge myself.

This upcoming Fall begins the race to the finish line in the following Fall of 2012. I’m in my major now, I only have a handful of core business classes left and the rest is all Marketing courses. I’m really looking forward to taking Marketing Management and Marketing research next semester in order to get a more in depth look into the industry itself.

Congratulations! Any thoughts on starting a marketing blog next semester to write about what you’re learning?

I actually started a marketing/advertising blog last year-ish, but I haven’t written anything in a while. But I probably will start writing more next semester.
